Baca Gitu Loh - Banten Java, Indonesia - The South Tangerang City (Tangsel) Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) reported that there were three flood points in Tangsel today. Water height reaches 45 cm.
Head of Emergency and Logistics BPBD Tangsel M Faridzal Gumay said the floods were caused by heavy rainfall. The duration of the rain that occurs is relatively long.
"The occurrence of puddles was triggered by rain with heavy intensity and for quite a long time," said Gumay in a statement to journalists, Monday (24/4/2023).
Flooding began to be reported at 15.20 WIB. The report from BPBD Tangsel said the flood was still occurring until 17.20 WIB.
"The initial incident or disaster was (reported) at 15.20 WIB. The current situation is that the water is gradually receding and safe," he said.
The three points of the flood area have different heights. The following is the distribution of flood points in Tangsel as of 17.20 WIB:
1. RW 04 BPI Pamulang Timur Complex (TMA 5 cm). A total of 70 families affected.
4. RW 24, Lembah Pinus Housing Complex, Pamulang Barat (TMA 20-45 cm). A total of 250 families were affected.
5. Jalan Flamboyan RW 17, Reni, West Pamulang (TMA 10-25 cm). A total of 20 families were affected. ***
